Climbing Escalade Canada (CEC) is looking to hire a Safe Sport & Events Coordinator to support the implementation of the 2021-2022 Competition Season, as well as be the lead of the CEC Safe Sport Framework. This position has been made possible in part by the Government of Canada.

DESCRIPTION
The role of the Safe Sport & Events Coordinator is to support CEC in the implementation of our Safe Sport Framework and to manage the execution of our domestic events. This is a hands-on role for someone who is energized by being part of a growing organization in an exciting and dynamic sporting community. The successful candidate will play an important role in establishing a positive and safe competitive environment for all participants, regardless of their ages and abilities.

  • IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Executive Director
  • TERM: September 2021 to May 2022 (9 months)
  • COMPENSATION: honorarium of $22,500 ($2,500 per month)

Day 2 of Workd champs today

Boulderers center stage today.

@rileyclimbs and Madison Fischer in Women's and @zach_richardson_ and @guymcnamee in Men's.

Maddie grabbed 2 tops and 3 zones to post 25th, her best IFSC Senior result to date and just outside semis. Riley managed to find 1 zone in her first ever IFSC Senior Competition to finish 71st. She will undoubtedly learn from the experience and be back stronger in the future.

Guy snagged 51st place in the men's with 1 top and 3 zones. A decent result for his IFSC Senior event. Zach couldn't find his usual form and finished 65th with 2 Zones. We know he'll be back 🙂

So nice to see the Maple Leaf on the World Stage!!
